Chef Ethan, who has worked at award winning restaurants in Singapore and New Zealand, has conceived kanves as a creative outlet to express his culinary identity. Kanves is an extension of his personality: a space where he can be true to himself without conforming to societal trends; a place where he can champion substance and flavour over aesthetics.

Chef Ethan’s approach to food is ‘borderless’ — he is inspired by the myriad of cultures and cuisines around the world. Dishes are created with a contemporary approach where less is more.

Ultimately we aim to provide a fuss-free environment with deliciously simple yet complex food for you and your loved ones to enjoy.

House Rules

Please carefully read through the following house rules before making any reservations:

  • Dinner commences at 7:30pm sharp and concludes no later than 11:00pm. Guests are to be punctual to prevent any inconveniences.

  • The duration of the dinner is up to 3 hours and may be delayed due to late arrivals.

  • We regret that we are currently unable to host children under 12yrs of age.

  • Shoes are to be removed and left outside before entering the house.

  • Noise levels are to be kept to a reasonable limit at all times.

  • Each booking requires a minimum single party of 6 persons up to a maximum of 8, subject to the change in government directives.

  • The booking calendar is live and reflects all availability, including cancellations made by previous guests.

  • Reservations for October to February 2025 will be made available on 1st August 2024, 9:00pm.

  • The menu is subject to change at any given moment and we are currently unable to cater to special dietary requirements unless prior arrangements have been agreed upon.

  • We have a BYO policy with no additional corkage charge.

  • A refundable deposit of $170 via internet bank transfer or PayNow app, is required upon confirmation of desired slot which will be held for 24hrs till the deposit is received. Failing which, the slot will be released to the public.

  • Remaining payment will be required 2 weeks prior to your reservation date.

  • Any cancellation or reduction in number of guests occurring within one week of your reservation date will not be eligible for any refund.
